H.Y.B.R.I.D. – heating in the future

H.Y.B.R.I.D means a system that combines two different technologies. In the case of the innovative heating concept designed by Kübler, infrared heating technology is combined with a conventional hydraulic hot-water heating system. The whole system is managed by R.O.S.S.Y., the resources optimizing control system designed by Kübler, and which won the Federal Innovation Prize in 2004. The true innovation lies in making use of the residual heat. So far, using the waste heat of infrared heating systems (radiant heaters) made economical sense only in exceptional cases. The reason mainly lies in the contradictoriness of infrared technology on the one hand, the efficiency of which is largely dependent on high temperatures of the radiating surfaces and the calorific value technology, on the other hand, which works ever more effectively the lower its water temperature. Pooling the benefits of efficiency-optimized infrared heating systems, pinpoint controlling and innovative usage of waste heat has turned the fully integrated hybrid system H.Y.B.R.I.D. into the most efficient heating system ever designed by Kübler. With its combustion efficiency value of up to 108% H.Y.B.R.I.D. sets a new benchmark for economic and topical space heating.

In 2012 Kübler has won the German Sustainability Award 2012 in the category "Germany's Most Sustainable Product" for H.Y.B.R.I.D. and also the "Innovation Prize Rheinland-Pfalz".
