R.O.S.S.Y power supply for AR and Optima

Every device is connected to R.O.S.S.Y using a 5 x 1.5 mm2 NYM-J cable for the power supply and for operating and error messages.

In the case of large individual or combined exhaust gas systems, multiple devices can be integrated for one heating zone. Every heating zone is equipped with a separate room temperature sensor for monitoring the temperature. The room temperature sensor is connected to R.O.S.S.Y using a shielded cable, e.g. YSTY 2 x 2-0.8.

An outer temperature sensor is required if R.O.S.S.Y is equipped with the Smar- Tec saving module. It is installed on the North side of the building and connected to R.O.S.S.Y using a shielded cable YSTY 2 x 2-0.8.

For linear device versions AR 13 HB, AR 22 HB, AR 40 HB and AR 50 HB with an individual exhaust gas routing system, the responsible specialist company must lay a 3 x 1.5 m² NYM-J connection cable between the burner and the exhaust gas fan (not additionally listed in the wiring diagram).

The exhaust gas fan for combined exhaust gas systems must be connected to R.O.S.S.Y depending on the fan type and cable length:

Fan motor with 230 V and 50 Hz:
3 x 1.5 mm² NYM-J
Fan motor with 400 V and 50 Hz:
5 x 1.5 mm² NYM-J or higher

In the case of a Door-Off control unit, every switching contact on the door (on-site) is connected to the Door-Off control unit using a 3 x 1.5 mm² NYM-J cable. The Door-Off control unit is provided between R.O.S.S.Y and the devices to be controlled. Light barriers of Park-Off must be wired with the Park-Off control unit using a cable such as 4 x 0.75 mm² NYM-J. The Park-Off control unit is provided between R.O.S.S.Y and the devices to be controlled.

Only specialist companies may carry out electrical activities in conformity with the applicable VDE provisions and other guidelines if required.

R.O.S.S.Y power supply for the NRV multi-burner system

The end-vent burner of a heating section having one or more burners must be connected to R.O.S.S.Y using a cable such as 5 x 1.5 mm² NYM-J.

Every additional burner of a heating section (Inline) is connected to the upstream burner using a branch box and a cable such as 3 x 1.5 mm² NYM-J.

Depending on the heating zone distribution (possible section-wise), every heating zone is equipped with a separate room temperature sensor for monitoring the temperature. This sensor is connected to R.O.S.S.Y using a shielded cable (e.g. YSTY 2 x 2-0.8).

The exhaust gas fan for the heating system must be connected to R.O.S.S.Y as follows:

Fan motor with 230 V and 50 Hz:

Fan motor with 400 V and 50 Hz:
5 x 1.5 mm² NYM-J or higher
